Aloha, Local 1000 Executive Board and Members!  Just FYI, International ILWU V.P.-Hawaii, Sam Kreutz, has spent the last several days assisting cargo distribution and hotel accommodations for relief efforts on Maui.  He wants to express his thanks to those who are contributing to relief efforts. There are thousands of ILWU members and families in the Lahaina area, as well as Kaanapali, Kapalua, Kihei, and Upcountry Maui.  V.P. Kreutz is himself a resident of Maui so he feels great appreciation for all the support for his home island.  Mahalo!
